The George H. Ball Community Achievement Award

Recognizing Juniors Who Make a Difference

Keuka College is proud to present The George H. Ball Community Achievement Award for juniors. The scholarship is named after our founder, Rev. Dr. George Harvey Ball, whose vision is continued at Keuka College by educating young students and adult learners who “bring strength to our nation and to help humanity” through combined classroom and experiential learning. The Ball Award rewards students based on qualities that embody the values of Keuka College, including integrity, academic excellence, diversity, leadership, service, and social responsibility.

    • Up to 5 students can be nominated from each high school. Please submit one student at a time. Students must be nominated by their school counselor.
    • For an award of $10,000 per year for four years of undergraduate study ($40,000 total)
    • Please note, award recipients may be eligible for other merit-based scholarship opportunities, in which case the Community Achievement Award is not stackable. If a student qualifies for a larger merit-based award, that scholarship will replace the Community Achievement Award.
    • Deadline: April 30
    • If there are any issues submitting this form, please reach out to admissions@keuka.edu or call (315) 279-5254.
