The George H. Ball Community Achievement Award

Recognizing Juniors Who Make a Difference

Keuka College is proud to present the George H. Ball Community Achievement Award for high school juniors. The scholarship is named after our founder, Rev. Dr. George Harvey Ball, whose vision is continued at Keuka College by educating young students and adult learners who "bring strength to our nation and to help humanity" through combined classroom and experiential learning. The Ball Award rewards students based on qualities that embody the values of Keuka College, including integrity, academic excellence, diversity, leadership, service and social responsibility.

Each high school may nominate up to five students from the Class of 2025. Specifically, nomination forms and transcripts must be submitted by the nominated student's school counselor. It is important that a nomination form is completed for each student being nominated. Nominations should be submitted no later than May 15, 2024. All award recipients will receive a certificate by June 5, 2024.

Award recipients will receive a conditional acceptance to Keuka College, pending submission of an official application to Keuka College in the Fall. Award recipients will receive at least $88,000 in merit scholarships over four years of undergraduate study at Keuka College. This scholarship will be applied towards the student's bill, should the student choose to enroll at Keuka College.
